  • Principal Frontend Engineer

    What You’ll Do
    • Architect, design and develop complex applications.
    • Develop services from scratch and help lead the future architecture of the product.
    • Research new technologies and incorporate them into Ottopia’s product.
    • Contribute to tools that make your work more effective.
    • Mentor junior developers and contribute to their work.
    • Work with the company’s leadership in bringing the product vision to life.

    What You’ll Bring
    • B.Sc./M.Sc. in computer science, electrical/computer engineering or service in an elite technological unit.
    • 7+ years of experience as a software engineer in any high level programming language.
    • 3+ years of experience in developing rich frontend applications in React.
    • 3+ years experience in working with TypeScript.
    • Experience in developing in a microservices based environment.
    • Experience contributing to interactive dashboards and visualization platforms and/or rich interactive GIS applications.
    • Experience in testing frameworks such as Selenium, Mocha etc.

  • Full Stack Tech Lead

    What You’ll Do
    • Architect, design and develop complex web applications (frontend and backend).

    • 5+ years of experience in developing rich frontend applications in one of the major modern frameworks (React is an advantage).
    • 5+ years in developing applications’ backend in any high level language (Node.JS, Java, C#, Python etc.).
    • Experience in developing in a microservices based environment.

    • Experience in low latency rendering technologies is a big advantage.

  • Senior Manual QA Engineer

    What You’ll Do
    • Analyze requirements, wireframes, and design documents.
    • Prepare integration and test plans for web, server, and embedded applications.
    • Manage and execute the planned integration activities and testing.
    • Perform root cause analysis for defects found, including analysis of application logs and communication protocols.
    • Drive defects to resolution, engaging with development and product teams.
    • Perform field testing and integration with Ottopia vehicles.

  • Field Hardware Engineer

    What You’ll Do
    • Maintenance, repair, and installation of our Teleoperation hardware.
    • Local and international installations of the company's teleoperation product as well as technology demonstrations (install, configure, customize, test, and deploy).
    • Explore, design, and test new hardware for our Teleoperation solution.
    • Contribute to adding more tests, debugging of capabilities, troubleshooting, and performing post-processing analysis to ensure our solution and system quality, stability, and reliability.
    • Collaborate with R&D teams as new capabilities are developed and matured and provide proofs of concept of complex integrations both internally (Solution, R&D) and externally (Customers).
    • Work closely with customers to understand their system, design and execute hardware integration plans.
    • Work closely with R&D on integration and hardware-related bugs.
    • Define and write procedures for maintenance, recovery, integration, and deployment of our Teleoperation hardware and stations.
    • Act as the company's safety admin and perform periodic safety training.
    What You’ll Bring
    • B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or proven equivalent knowledge.
    • At least 3 years of experience in working directly with customers.

  • Safety Driver

    What You’ll Do
    • 80%-100% position.
    • Perform test drives with real autonomous vehicles.
    • Drive long hours and long distances.
    • Take the vehicle to regular inspections and maintain its “operational level” at all times.
    • Perform end to end sanity checks with Ottopia’s systems that are deployed on the vehicle e.g. networking tests between vehicles and stations on a daily basis.
    What You’ll Bring
    • Over the age of 24.
    • Manual gear drivers’ license (B license) with at least two years practice driving.
    • Suitable for students.
    • A clean driving record - no previous accidents/suspensions.
    • Advanced driving course - an advantage.

  • Product Manager

    What You’ll Do
    • End-to-end ownership of the control center products.
    • Writing specifications, drafting requirements documents, and building wireframes.
    • Setting deadlines while working closely with the engineering teams.
    • Maintaining a thorough understanding of the development status; escalating issues as needed, providing status reports, detailing completed & upcoming tasks.
    • Collecting insights to adapt the product where necessary.
    • Conducting usability studies to research how customers handle our features.
    • Ensuring our eyes are kept on the target with an MVP mindset.
    • Building up and grooming a validated product backlog for the supervisor station product.
    What You’ll Bring
    • 4+ years of Product Management experience from UX-centric products.
    • Proven track record of delivering software products/services to market.
    • Previous experience leading UX/UI designers and Frontend/Backend software engineers in developing customer-facing products.
    • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills in English.
    • Ability to analyze, structure, and simplify requirements and processes.

  • Product Designer

    What You’ll Do
    • Lead the design process from ideation to pixel-perfect designs; research, present multiple iterations, collect feedback and agree with the team on the best solutions.
    • Translate product vision & requirements into simple, intuitive solutions by wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and creating mockups.
    • Work closely with development and QA to understand technical feasibility and ensure that designs are understood and implemented correctly.
    • Effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to the R&D, QA, etc.
    • Take part in creating a design system and style guide for our product.
    What You’ll Bring
    • 4+ years of experience creating wireframes, clickable prototypes, and design specs, ideally working on technical dashboard products (Please include a portfolio in your application).
    • Proven track record of delivering software products to market.
    • Highly analytical approach and exceptional data visualization skills.

    • Proven background in UX methodologies and applying user-centric design processes.
