  • VP R&D

    What You’ll Do
    • Build and lead an organization of Software & QA Engineers and team leaders
    • Mentor team members
    • Hands-on design reviews and code reviews, mostly in C++ but not just
    • Oversee tech design, planning, implementing, and testing methodologies of features
    • Set standards for code quality, testing, automation, and performance
    • Work closely with the Product team to align on acceptance criteria
    • Manage the software development release cycle
    • Prioritize based on risk, timelines, and external commitments
    What You’ll Bring
    • At least 10 years experience in professional coding, from a minimum of 2 different companies
    • At least 3 years experience as a senior manager at a start-up company (VP or Director)
    • At least 2 years experience in managing R&D team leaders (“managing managers”)
    • At least 2 years experience in developing products that involve at least one of the following tech domains: video compression, networking, cellular networks, embedded systems, enterprise or automotive cyber-security, robotics or autonomous vehicles. Experience in more than one is a major advantage
    • An academic degree in computer science / engineering from one of the top academic institutes in IL (HUJI, TAU, Technion, BGU) or a top academic institute abroad (e.g. MIT). Alternatively, have a history and significant experience from leading organizations such as well-known and successful medium-sized startups, unicorns etc. In other words, experienced talented people with no degrees but the right background are very welcome to apply
    • Excellent communication skills. Must be professional as well as relatable and accessible
    • Mature approach and methodology to software quality, e.g. previous experience setting up and/or managing a QA process in an organization based on modern practices. Previous experience with staging and testing processes. Experience with continuous integration (CI), is a plus

    What You’ll Do
    • Cash flow management including billing, collection, salaries, and payments to vendors.

  • Principal Backend Engineer

    What You’ll Do
    • Architect, design, and develop cloud-native microservices and on-prem agents.
    • Develop services from scratch in Python over AWS (other languages also possible in the future).
    • Help lead the future architecture of the product, transitioning to a cloud SaaS wholesome Teleoperation management solution.
    • Research new technologies and incorporate them into Ottopia’s product.
    • Build or contribute to infrastructure that makes your work more effective.
    • Mentor junior developers and contribute to their work.
    • Work with the company’s leadership in bringing the product vision to life.
    What You’ll Bring
    • B.Sc./M.Sc. in computer science, electrical/computer engineering, or service in an elite technological unit.
    • 7+ years in developing backend services in any high-level language (Python FastAPI experience is an advantage).
    • Experience with Rust, Go and node.js is a plus.
    • Experience in developing in a microservices-based environment (e.g. Kubernetes, Amazon ECS\EKS, Docker & Docker Compose).

  • Senior DevOps Engineer

    What You’ll Do
    • Build amazingly fast and efficient CI\CD pipelines for C++ and Python development.
    • Automate the provisioning of various cloud workloads in AWS or other cloud providers.
    • Implement and maintain the cloud infrastructure required for the company's data pipelines in ElasticSearch and other data warehouses.
    • Automate deployment to automotive grade compute, which is installed in various types of vehicles.
    • Help build labs for remote development on specialized automotive hardware.
    • Write a lot of Python.
    What You’ll Bring
    • Minimum 4 years of experience as a DevOps engineer.
    • Minimum 2 years in Python or any other scripting/programming language.

    • Improve upon Ottopia's advanced teleoperation components in safety measures, observability, additional functionality and finalization of customer experience.

  • Office & Welfare Admin

    As a Welfare and Office Manager, you’ll be the heart of the company and ensure the smooth running of our office on a day-to-day basis. You’ll be responsible for organizing and coordinating administration and employee experience events. Your role is to create and maintain a positive and pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication, and safety. You will be the first point of contact for employees on all office needs including maintenance, (physical) mail, shipping, office supplies and equipment, and assisting with operations tasks. In addition, you will potentially support the CEO by scheduling meetings.

    What You’ll Do
    • Ownership of all aspects related to our day-to-day office operations (kitchen, office equipment, cleanliness, ongoing payments).
    • Manage onboarding and offboarding of employees.
    • Act as the point of contact for purchasing requests related to the office & employees and manage relationships with vendors and service providers.

  • Logistics and Purchasing Manager

    What You’ll Do
    • Handle and manage purchase orders and requests both for R&D and customers' purposes.
    • Search and source for potential local and global suppliers in the communications and computing fields.
    • Receive goods, arrange and place them in a warehouse/lab and distribute them to customers.
    • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all the company's inventory, hardware, and equipment.
    • Develop automated processes and solutions for the stock administration to ensure accurate inventory management and delivery.
    • Be responsible for all daily relations with the suppliers, forwarders, and carriers in all types of shipments (curriers, ocean shipments, air shipments) including monitoring deliveries and/or shipments, coordinating pickups, etc.
    • Oversee preparation of documents such as quotations, bills of lading, invoices, POs, etc.
    • Coordinate other paperwork and documentation necessary to comply with tariffs and customs regulations.
